This community workspace was commissioned by our client, Woodlands Community Development Trust, to create a vibrant local space to host community meetings, activities and groups. The hub itself was manufactured offsite by a specialist provider of modular timber buildings, built from sustainable materials and designed to be highly energy efficient. We performed site clearance and preparation works, delivered civil engineering services, and connection of hub upon delivery. We then installed a small kitchen area and w/c and completed finishing works internally. Externally we completed hard landscaping works, including footpath, gravel, stairs and decking.

Additionally we provided preparatory works for the proposed second phase of this project, which is due to commence in 2019. The workspace is now a valued and well-used facility in the community, hosting the likes of community meetings, baby & toddler classes, and talks from local artists to name just a few!
